Your Question

My pigmentation is coming back slowly, I guess I would like to know if it's normal and if not, what should I do?

Our Answer

We have identified the following information that we hope you find helpful. If you still have questions, please contact us.

Is it normal for pigmentation to come back if I have vitiligo?

While rare, it is possible for pigmentation to come back in some individuals that have vitiligo. Up to 30% of vitiligo patients report some spontaneous repigmentation, particularly in areas of the body that receive a lot of sun exposure. Most individuals do not find the amount of repigmentation to be satisfactory.[1]
